Individual Therapy
Therapy addresses the underlying thoughts, feelings and reactions that are causing your distress. Clarifying values, beliefs and goals can be helpful in bringing new light and relief to a previously overwhelming and untenable situation or relationship. Instead of feeling stuck or feeling as if you are in a “lose/lose” situation, you can feel empowered and able to move forward with new insight and behaviors to create a “win/win” situation for yourself and your loved ones. We will explore how you can get more of what you want--how you can not only receive more of the love you desire, but also feel motivated to be more loving to those you care about.

Therapy is a sacred time for you. It is a time for tranquility and discovery. Each person is unique, so we will begin by looking at your unique qualities and experience. We will look at where you are, where you have come from and where you would like to be. If certain behaviors and attitudes are getting in your way, we will explore what other options may be available to you.
We’ve all heard the expression: “no pain, no gain.” Therapy is not an easy process. Many people believe therapy is for people who are weak and ill. I believe that successful therapy requires a certain amount of core strength and will to move forward—therapy is also for healthy people who want to resolve painful long-standing problems that keep them from fully appreciating their lives and loved ones. I firmly believe that the rewards are well worth the discomfort that can be a part of the process of therapeutic healing. See Therapy Myth Busting
